Solar PV panels providing clean renewable energy work in all weathers
The solar industry is hoping to get changes made to some key research into solar panel costs, which informed the government’s controversial proposals to slash feed-in tariff incentives (FITs) from July. The consultation sets out plans to cut FITs from 21p/kWh to 13.6p/kWh for installations with fewer than 4kW of capacity if deployment has exceeded 200MW by July. If deployment reaches 150MW to 200MW, it proposes reductions to 15.7p, and for less than 150MW 16.5p. The solar sector warned this would lead to a contraction in the market.
SolarSave has many options for solar power units. We stock solar PV panels that work throughout all weathers. Our solar PV panels can start producing your energy, reduce the cost of your bills and provide clean, renewable energy for your home. You can make even more savings and reduce your carbon footprint further by installing a glass evacuated tube solar unit that provides most of an average household’s hot water heating needs free of charge using solar energy.
