Reduce use of costly gas with solar evacuated tube panels which work in winter
The cost of gas around Europe has risen sharply due to increased demand as a result of recent cold weather. It marks a rise of 24 per cent in the UK price since last Friday. Big commercial users of gas, who rely on the next day market, are most affected. Jeremy Nicholson of the UK Energy Intensive Users Group said: “This is a pretty savage price hike for large-scale users of gas,” adding: “These price hikes will filter through much more quickly.”
The demand for fossil fuels including gas is increasing dramatically, so the price can only go higher in the long-term. Gas energy users can reduce their intake of costly fossil fuels by installing solar panels to heat your hot water from SolarSave. SolarSave’s glass evacuated tube panels are especially designed for countries like the UK where the amount of sun is variable and they continue to work in winter. SolarSave also hooks up to a building heating management system which works on most types of boilers using gas energy.
