Each solar installation is unique and individual to the building and your requirements. If you wish us to quote for a solar installation then we would like to discuss your requirements initially over the telephone.

The advantage of installing a system from SolarSave is that we can not only provide you with a saving of around 70% off the current cost of producing hot water, but our system also includes a HeatingSave building energy management system (BEMS) which is Government recommended and approved by the Carbon Trust, Energy Savings Trust and London Green500. The BEMS can save 20%+ of your heating bill by better managing your existing central heating system. In effect, you get two systems for the price of one.

All other suppliers of solar heating provide a control system that is totally separate from the controls for the central heating system. This means they cannot maximise the amount of energy that the solar collectors can deliver as the system relies on you manually adjusting the heating controls. With SolarSave there is one control system – so the left hand knows what the right hand is doing.

We are also flexible, so if you want to install the system yourself, we provide a premium-rate phone line to our Helpdesk engineers who can talk you through the process.

Please remember we only sell our own glass evacuated tube system. Typical installation costs for a normal 3 tor 4 bedroom house is between £4,250 to £5,250. This includes our engineer’s time and the cost of scaffolding to reach the roof.

Once we have given you a budget quotation for a suitable system and you wish to go ahead, we arrange a Site Visit by our Operations Departments who carry out a survey of your property and . amend the quotation if necessary and post you a fixed price quote.

Once you have placed an order for a solar BEMS heating system we book a mutually agreed date for our Operations Department to start the installation, which normally takes between a few days to a week to complete and commission. Difficult or complex installations take longer. Our engineers will always provide you with basic training to explain how the system works.

Maintenance and Support

Each solar BEMS system installed comes with a defective parts and labour warranty of 2 years. The solar collectors have a 7 year manufacturing defect warranty and our solar tubes can be easily replaced individually without having to drain down the entire system.

We also offer a maintenance contract for a fixed annual fee.
